- Nick submitted the Annual Status Report to COPA National.

- 2025 Fly-In Breakfast Debrief
- Better late than never!
- Ted submitted some notes that were read and discussed at the meeting. Of note, we discussed:
- droning up more volunteers (and doing so earlier)
- assigning team leads for various key areas, such as:
- breakfast
- aircraft marshalling
- vehicle parking
- visitor transport
- …
- 50-50 draw
- Making the Airport’s contributions to the local community known (Local businesses at the airport, visiting pilots being patrons of local businesses, Ornge Air, Military, Hydro One, COPA Discover Aviation, etc.)
- Offering paid flights the day of, via Chapman Aviation or Smiths Falls Flying Club
- Lots of discussion around COPA33 playing a larger role in organization and operation of the fly-in breakfast in 2026.
- 2026 Discover Aviation Day
- Date is to be early March, with an exact date and rain date set at January meeting.
- We currently only have 4 pilots signed up, and will be doing a bigger push between now and January meeting.
- Goal is to get background checks completed by end of January, then we will be advertising the event.
- COPA33 Website
- Purchasing of a domain name approved by vote.
- Ted and Nick to take care of getting content up.
- Membership Drive
- Discussion of expansion of our target geographic area.
- Discussion of opening up the meetings via Teams calls.
- Discussion of getting in contact w/ neighbouring COPA flights, attend their sessions, and learn about what helps them drive membership and engagement.
- Spring Rust Remover
- Nick is looking into getting a TC-approved currency seminar for a Spring Rust Remover scheduled.
- Johnny offered help to get in contact with TC.
- Scheduled Discussion: Winter Flying POSTPONED due to meeting running long.
